Oberon Shetland

Evening,

Just seeing if anyone has any experience or heard of the above charter boat up at Shetland?
It is with a view to a three day fishing trip up there catching the ferry from Aberdeen. I have had a look at their site and done a bit of googling and the turbot fishing especially looks immense. The trip up there also would be a fair whack cheaper than Norway and you could go for a pint and some scran at night without taking out a mortgage to pay for it!

My boss at work goes every year on this boat had fish up to 30lb
If you want to speak to him he owns the butchers shop in blandford street Sunderland.

He is going this year in June or july

lots of bad stories about him BUT hes booked up about a year in advance,so cant all be bad :exclam: lot of stuff(good)on wsf about him.hes running 2 boats in shetland this year i believe.

have spoken to him afraid he dosent "do it" for me also i consider him expensive
