Headed out of Hartlepool today on my friends offshore wind farm boat (ocean wind 6) at roughly 9am, went over a few inshore wrecks and hit the mackerel from the off, after filling a few bags with mackerel we headed a little further out to try our luck over a few wrecks. From the word go we were straight into cod and ling, they were taken all day on shads, bait, pirks anything you would drop down! In the end we had had a nice haul of cod and a few decent ling... cracking days fishing had by myself and 2 of the other lads.

That's the one thing I Diddent bring scales! I'm
Not the best at estimating weights but I'd think the ling would be Arround 14lb and the same lad who had it also had the best cod of the day at Arround 10lb.
