Hello lads
I'm new to the forum but like what I'm seeing. I'm home on leave and Fancie drowning a few worms today and was wondering if any one had a few tips of where to fish around the tyne estuary/ tynemouth / Whitley bay areas. Fished down the middens and pier gates last week with limited success ie small flatties and codling. Many thanks

Hi Darren, and welcome to the forum. With the sea being flat, I would give castle rocks a chuck a couple of hours each side of low water. Always a good chance of a big fish this time of year, or sharpness which is the north side of castle rocks, and can also give up some decent fish.
