Thought I would put a report on after being out from Newbiggin today went out on the new boat second time out southerly had sea chopped up so headed round the back of the beacons about a mile out and struck lucky on the hard ground I had 2 codling 2lb and 3.5lb and father had 2 @ 2lb both had a good scottchie each which went back good day had for time of year and enjoyed playin with the new plotter/fishfinder lookin forward to the better weather now looking promising though! Bait fishing with rag/mussel and a orange muppet above.
Just been able to run the motor at full tilt a 9.9 suzuki and very impressed cant believe the fuel econemy 2hrs run in total and not even a gallon used!!:)

Seems good consumption from engine (or not as the case may be)

Its een a long winter, hope the fish come out to play at sea.

Hoping to do some other kinds of fishing other than wreck and rough ground but dont know if i have the will power on a flat day to stay away :)

I have put my shore gear away Tony it was the NESA comp that made my mind up for this year here's hoping for the best boat cod fishin for 50 years LOL I'd settle for best in 10 yrs :D

Hopefully get to put more catch reports on;)
