Hi, Iv been looking at one of these reels for fishing rough ground and was wondering if anyone has got one or used one and what they thought of them. Just fancied something different as i have a 535 and slosh30 and have some money in my paypal account just itching to be spent

More like a 5.3 mc mint saltist's body work rubbish but good reel though,but prefer the avets.

That was my reel I used it once there massive and even with the mags on full there very very very fast avets are good reels

saltist or fathom pal,avets r very well made too
Got the fathom and the saltist both very good reels imo,cast very well too,saltist's r prone to taking a knock or two(side plates mark very easy)wouldn't bother with an okuma tho
