Just wondering if anyone's using this line and what the abrasive qualities and diamater to weight is like - how does it compare with Berkely big-game etc etc

The lad I use to service my reels uses okuma platinum and rates it highly but I think that's primarily down to the price point.
Not a big fan of it myself and I've only been using fluromax special which is the cheapest line I've bough. Now the weather is on the turn and I'm moving to rough ground I'll be changing to either sakuma nite crystal or asso hardskin.

price of both lines tells its own story,and wth the whitley bay lads using berkley trilene for yrs says it all.only prob i have wth berkley trilene is the colour ,i prefer to see my line coming off rod tip during daytime or night, this is a reason i started to use stren stanima brilliant stuff gold in colour but increasingly hard to scource.

Yeah discounted that stuff John, just curious.
Will stick with my Berkeley Trilene Big Game, 80lb Power pro leader and Amnesia hook lengths - just wish I could get a hold of some Maxima 40lb Chameleon ???
