Darren Shields won the top prize of £1000 with a bag of 9lb odd, P McFarlane was 2nd and J Archer was 3rd. I didnt get the weights or places they were fishing but 350 fished and 68 weighed in, me, i blanked again and the local tackle dealer will be making a mint from me again 2mora! Still got a pick off the table cos there was prizes left over and got a petzl zoom headlamp so not to bad a day.

It was well organised jim, little goodie bags for the juniors that didnt catch owt either, probs the best table ive seen this year.

Well theyre the future of our sport and even if it is just a few bits and pieces for them at least it keeps them interested especially if theres sod all to catch! Or is that just where i fish cos everywhere is devoid of the little critters lately!
