Ouch!!

Hey Keith you could well ned a jab in the @rse for that
haha hook in the thumb cured by a prick in the @rse strange ..... but probably true :) :)

When i was a lad i got a hook in my finger. Walked up the road from the Heugh into St Hildas hospital casualty couple of nurses got it out tetanus and back out after half an hour.
Can you imagine how long it would be these days minimum 4-5 hrs.

Very true Mick ,I've taken my lads to the " walk in centre " at the General Hospital quite a few times over the years ( boys will be boys ) ranging from dislocated knee cap to head gashes etc etc the list goes on , anyway as you say we've always been there around four hours ,in my personal oppinion they should have entertainment on haha and not just drunken charvers like they normally do.

I know how you feel i can feel the twinge now, three weeks ago a misplaced gaff decided to go through my trainer and into my left foot. It felt as if it had gone through half an inch, so be careful where any thing with a hook decides to take a fancy to you!"!!!! leave it to the fish:thumbup:

Not nice at all .... hope your baby soft skin heals up ok mate ! must admit its the first time ive ever done that to a human ! done it to the ships dog a couple of times (kizzy) bless her :( hooks in paws etc
