Look spot on them mate, I have plenty cod daylights and large hokkais so hopefully give it all a go see what can catch, cheers for info mate, much appreciated

Cris here some pictures how I do my daylights home made 6/0akuma hooks and the ribbon you get from flower shops
then a whole squid on each one
Shad fishing just put a american swivel on your main line add your weight then take a second american swivel add this to your top eye on 1st american swivel
then add your shad to about 3ft of line then connect to eye of your second american swivel ,The way we fish is called hopping,and thats how you do it hop across the sea bed if not catching fish wind in and start again most fish come on the drop or the 1st 5 hops hope this helps

No wrecking this weekend paul lol
that's what im trying to say the water not very clean big tides bait will be best choice bet your lads have plenty of squid
but as they say you cant help every one lol
