went out today on crusader, very srtong wind could not hold bottom,fished saltburn area i caught nothing, and what was caught i,d say about 5 -7 codling between 5 anglers. no mackeral and only 1 whiting, all round bad day

Shocked at that, was down the coast before and the sea looked cracking, yes there was a stiff wind but nothing a cast away from the wreck could not sort out.

It was blowing a hoolie down here today (a lot stronger than forecast) must have been about 20 mph and from the southeast.

It was about 12mph 15 tops when i was down before but it seemed stronger when i was in bed this afternoon. Friday is looking alittle windy but its off the land and the sea is forcast slight but sat and sunday looks perfect fishing got all the gear sorted and some new tactics, so fingers crossed

Looking forward to friday afternoon. Like i said to dave if the wind does what it has been doing it will peak at about 2 and the n ease as the afternoon progresses. Bring on the fish.
