Just got back from Scotts at Whitley Bay after getting some sand eel and Ragworm. Going to have a few hours tomorrow at Cullernose point to see if there is anything suitable with me light gear. Hoping for a Pollack or two with a bit of luck.

I picked up the voucher for the boat comp Clare, it is for £50:00. Check your PMs and I will get it to you pronto.

Had similar idea myself about the venue however sticking with the heavy gear, got some canny crab from Billys today so will give that a try. My m8 had a couple of codling to 2lb from the Black Hole on Sunday so who knows. May c u up there.

Hi Cola, will be up there hopefully for about 10 am only stopping a short while maybe 2 or 3pm as we are going away for the weekend on Friday night and I have to pack. Look forward to seeing you if you are there.

Didn\'t get there till about 10:30. Took one look at Cullernose and decided against it. Tried the Black hole and the School hole, about as much use as mushy crabs claws, one Sea Scorpion and a slight sun tan!
Be back up there next Tuesday, hopefully we\'ll have nice flat seas as I also fancy trying the light gear for the pollack.

I your right there Cola not the best conditions at all. Still I enjoyed the couple of hours that I had, but the breeze was just too much. I did get something having one go at me sand eel but unfortunately it got away with all but the head. I will be back for another go soon though.
