Out tonight friday, 15th September.

Graham if I was fishing anywhere but the pier I would mate. I am taking a lad with me that hasn't fished for ages and we will be stopping quite late so don't want to be wandering round all night. Next time I'm over on a Friday I probably will.

Steve and myself arrived in the car park to be met by Keith and Neil. Gear on and off we went to the Rail end. Set the rods up and Neil was into a small Codling straight away. After that we had a wee quiet spell until everyone started to get some decent knocks and the odd fish landed.

We were joined by Tim from Frazers who was kind enough to bring an old man with him (John from Frazers) rofl rofl rofl . We had quiet spells of half an hour or so when there were no bites and spells where someone was pulling fish in on a regular basis. Everyone caught at least a couple of fish and they were a well mixed bag of Codling, Coley,Dab, Whiting and I finished the night off with a Granny fish. All fish were returned and I think it would be Keith that had the best fish of the night which would have been a wee bit over limit.

Some fantastic crack was to be had by all as we had a great laugh. No big fish but plenty of good sport, especially on my light rod.

Gonna try Blyth area tonight.
