Well decided on Seaham pier, walked to about half way and nearly stood on a young seal that had hauled itself out halfway along the pier.

Had plenty small stuff, rocklings whitings, and a fair size flounder maybe just nudging a pound. Was a nice night to get out cold but still. Out again saturday night to Roker see what that brings.

Shields pier? Nothing much at the minute, The odd few around the 2lb mark but mainly undersized

At shields fortnight ago. a few 2-3 lbers off the end and south east corner and a few coalies from around the post area
