Panns bank 26/04

fished panns bank today for couple of hours up wind was a pain. fished 3 rods with me dad 2 bait rods and one spinning rod. using boom rigs and baits of runnydown n macky. (good old macky) caught 3 coalies undersized 2 on baits one on spinner . one species added to the hunt and lure challenge ,not a bad day. used my abu spinnign rod sink and draw with 30 g spinner powerstorm range felt a decent tap on the retrieve which turn out to be a coalie . fun on the light rod (which i snapped later when it got snagged. ) coupled with braid.
not a bad day all in all 3 coalies . trying to snap piccies werent easy due to the wind and wanting to return the fishes asap .

A few fish for you and one on the spinner which is great I have blanked on spinners so far this year after three trips out :red: Sorry to hear about your snapped rod, have a look in Moonfleet they've got some amazing quality but cheap rods in at the moment.

trying to snap piccies werent easy

Its easier to snap a rod mate, unlucky with the rod mate but sounds a good session, still to get my spinning rod out this year yet.

think its time me went shoopping for new spinning rods like . think i will modify the blank and redo the rings and turn my current spiining rod into heavy lure rod .
