Fancy gving the Hall beach a go soon, how safe is it to park in the top car park by the caves after dark? Don't mind a walk if it's not safe - I guess it's not that long a walk from the Crows Nest pub along the prom to the caves

Best park near the crows nest or the car park near it,the car park northside is very dark and a bit isolated.Never heard of any bother for years but better walk a couple of hundred yards to be on the safe side.

if you are fishing at night take your car on the prom , it used to be no parking during the day as those letting there dogs do dodos all over the place complained , probably because they had to pick it up. at night it is ok , havent fished there this year but have had no problems any other time .

I was down there a couple of weeks back and there was two cars parked down there both fishing, might be down there tonight, hopefully catching fish for a change

you are not supposed to take your car down if the police come down they will ask you to move it, but that it the worst thing they do , it is nice to sit and fish out the car i know we all do it, just be prepared to have to move if asked by the police.

Parking at the top on the sea front is perfectly safe your car will be safe, parking in the hall carpark, probably the worst that can happen is you get mistaken for one of the gay doggers and get asked to join in hahaha.

Any of you guys get anything tonight we ended up at hendon instead, managed a codling about 1lb and a half and my mate had a small coalie, thought it would have fished better but not to be

Just got in, absolutely cracking night with 12 fish - 9 size cod mostly around 1 1/2 lb and a couple of 2lbers, a coalie of 1 1/2lb, a rockling and an aneorexic whiting, missed a stonking slack liner as well - rod went right over, slack everywhere but when I caught up with it it was gone :(

Fish came all through the tide, up to HT they were at medium range but once it got dark and the ebb kicked in it was a fish a chuck at long distance. Fish were still on at 10pm when I left but I was down to the dregs of the bait and I've got work in the morning.

Will get a proper report and piccs up tomorrow :yltype:

That's the last time I toss a coin to decide where I'm going, well done mate nice fishing, bloody hendon grumble grumble
