We thought we would have another go at this mark again on Saturday night but this time we were fishing 1 hour up and 4 hours down!
Started off around 7pm and were soon on to some good knocks but it took a while to produce a fish.My mate Shaun pulled in a nice 5lber followed by a 4lber and that was his total for the night.I managed 2 codling around the 2lb mark and 3 coalies and a flattie which all were returned to live a bit longer.We had a variety of baits which included squid,rag,mussel,razor and frozen blacks.All the fish came on the frozen blacks alone and not even a sniff on any other bait.
Thats 2 weekend in a row where we've had good fish.
I think my tally in the last 2 sessions alone beat my total for all of last winter!!
I fished this mark quite alot last winter and only produced a few small codling so it just goes to show if you be patient then the fish will come
