peeler crab advice

hi, im totaly new as what to do with this stuff, iv got my hands on 20 or so 'peelers' which are hard shelled at the moment and want them freezing for winter bait. what do i do to them baring in mind i cant get any sea water as im 30mile inland and they dont look close to 'peeling'.
 
save ya money mate because your gonna need sea water to "bring them on"

if you cant get any sea water and they are still hard your out of luck mate

Get yourself some clean 25 ltr containers. I posted some comments on sea water "shelf life" to your other post.

If you are gonna freeze them. wait until they are poppers and peel all the shell and old lungs away. Wrap them individually in cling film and freeze them fast. I use a thick steel plate in the freezing compartment of the freezer as this draw out the heat and freezes them very fast. Well prepared crad like this will keep for a couple of years.. if you don't use it of course !.

You have not got "peelers" you've got hard back crabs.
