peeler crab shortage

Been ringing around today trying to get some fresh or frozen crab for next week as going to caravan for a week......seems nobody has any???, has this been the case all season or am i just unlucky this week.

Any info on where i can buy some would be appreciated, aint got the time or energy to go lifting rocks.

Most shops I've rang have had fresh crab mate... Not had any issues but I've struggled to get frozen

Moonfleet at Gateshead seem to get fresh in regularly, but they don't last long.
