peeler crab watch

hi guys seems as the season is starting to warm up a bit and summer just around the corner the crab will be starting there first molt soon any one been starting cleaning out there crab shelters yet if so let us know and any results just like to keep an eye on when they start showing so i can get down to make a start im guessing 4 weeks they probs be signs of the odd ones thanks lads

aye nows the time to clean out the tyres, empty the pipes, and bed any back in that might have been washed out of line............
i always to get some nice ragworm out on the first clean out cos the tyres are usually chocka with mud... lets hope i have a better year than last year... missed a few crucial tides when the first moult started due to work

Target this year: 200 frozen by june, the rest go for sale

Won't be getting any this year as i won't be here but if i was my special spot would bring me 200+ in 2hrs without the use of "shelters". Got none last year either so 2 years on the trot & many to come is a bit of a downer. I suppose whichever year i do eventually go get em there should be a hell of a lot more than usual.

Usually Mid April i would start until mid Sept
