which is exactly what I'm doing next year (oops I mean this year)......although worm baits have caught all my recent fish

I had a massive stock of lovely crab ready for winter but with all the spur of the moment smoothound fishing i done over the summer i was keep breaking into it as crab is the only bait the hounds will take down lincs, ive been getting some nice big fresh crab tho for a £1 a piece off a lad and im getting 2 nice baits of each crab sometimes 3 smaller baits which i just add to mussel to bulk it up.......ive always said tho if you want big fish over 7lb you cant beat a 6/0 pennel with half a mackrel.

Blinkin 'eck!!! 35 quid!!! For frozen....you can buy fresh one's for 75p each...bit steep I reckon!

Glad you got sorted mate crab wont fish well in all area's but will have an edge in most to other baits until the weather get to frreezing point all the time but dont look like it aint going to.
