Thought we would head out for a couple of hours with light winds predicted that was wrong. There was a canny chop on when we got out decided to give it a try anyway went about 5 miles the drift was far to fast tried for a bit but started to head in, half way back the sea just dropped off was'nt like that on the way out so we headed for a wreck just out of the tyne we were straight into fish,, glad as well we had a friend out that has never been on a boat beginers luck or what he caught the biggist 7lb now he's hooked he asked when he could come out again. all together we had 35-40 fish we lost count it was a crazy hour kept 17 put the rest back only 1 mackrel caught. I spoke to a couple of lads that had just came off the jfk they said they only got a couple between them all, was suprised because they tried around where we were aswell we had a good couple of hours.

It was good to beat the jfk but not good for the lads fishing on it we did hit a shoal behind the wreck, nowt on the wreck though so drifted that area we had to get the drift spot on or we missed them

them lads werent off the jfk as we had over 12o fish. with cod to 13lbs and ling to 12lbs, thinkyou seen lanky who had been out on another boat.ocean star. but came over to talk to us
