Penn battle 7000 or 8000

Just wondering whats the better reel between these two pen battle 7000 or the 8000. I will mainly be using it on the piers and in the river and wonder if anyone on here uses a one?

I use an 8000 from time to time from the pier. I would say that it is a bit bigger and heavier than is necessary, so given the choice again, I would get the smaller reel.
