Old, used and with a hairline crack in the delrin sideplate. Apparently, the Penn 285M is an improved 85 with a metal spool and an upgraded handle. Recently polished, slightly.
Filled with 30lb fireline braid it would make a good spare boat reel for someone at the bargain price of £5.
