in 2 minds whether to fish the pilot pier the wind isn't to strong at the moment but if i get there its bound to turn gale force and looks like it could pick up any minute, any hartlepool lads got a rough idea if it will stay reasonable to fish in tonight?

The water was a bit more choppier than i had imagined...dogs weren't happy at not being allowed off their leads. You'd think they would realise by now, if it's choppy don't swim into the deep water but they still do

give it ago mate this sea is ment to get big and good winds forcast for next 10 days mate this probs be last chance of a codling this season mate so try fish as much as possible the pilot and middleton will probs only place fishable the next couple of days bud both marks should haave fish on and then round the prom when it is fishable

this is middleton now and its meant to get much bigger and last for next 10 days mate so...:)

there must be some damage after this and its set to get heavier towards the end of the week.

Looks a lot calmer on the camera tonight, might have a look down tomorrow for fill some time in

I had a couple of hours on tuesday night had a good sea running didn't pull nothing in like. Had no live bait so used runny down and mackerel so may have been different with some live bait
