where is their any lakes/ponds near south shields, and what club ownes them ect, mainly some good sport carp fishing, would prefer to catch 20 carp 2-10lb than sit for days for one 20lber.

ryan theres apond up at hebburn next to the cock croiw inn, and one at boldon, testos roundabout a think you have to join a club to fish the hebburn one (£25 av'e been told) and you can fish it any time, not found out bout the boldon one yet

Get Hooked at Strawberry Fields in Seaton. Some great sport and you will catch plenty of fish. £5 day ticket and fishng from dusk til dawn (no membership fee). You buy your ticket from the massive attack paintball site (adjoining site) from 9am til 5pm.
