Plans For This Season?

We’ll it’s the new year so the new boat fishing season must be just around the corner. I feel like a little kid asking “are we nearly there yet?”

I’ve one or two projects to sort out on the boat, rigs to tie and as always need to get the melting pot fired up for some leads. It all passes the time before the marina is clear of ice and the fish show up again. Scouring over charts, books, records and websites for new marks and trying to consolidate all these ready to upload to the plotter fills in the hours of the dark nights and possible a minute or two during some of the duller meetings at work :hallucine:

I’ve met a few of the people from here on shore and afloat, a canny crew the lot of them. And, there has been several suggestions of a NESA flotilla again for this year, so who’s up for it? Another informal comp with the ultra-early 8AM start? A run to Amble or even the Graveyard? Not sure about this one but the more adventurous may be.

Doing nothing new this year really, i think we have tried just about everythig on the market and i am sad to say that over the last 3 years every wreck within my distance from the piers has now been fished from ym records, ticket the last one off in September.

Maybe the only new things i will try is lure fishing close in at marsden for bass or pollack and same at St Marys, rest of the time its fshing as per.

Going well offshore this year thats my no1 priority

three seperate weeks at weymouth with the boat cracking fishing as well anyone from the north east fancy it its with the WSF lot but a great week and up to 20+ other boats as well so no one is ever left out and the inshore fishing is superb and the species that can be caught is awesome as well ??

15lb Cod and Ling for me please :D (not so much a plan more of a target)

Haven't broken the double on Ling yet so could say 10lb but my biggest was a fraction under so I'll just go to the next level :D

"More Adventures Afloat (Skipper Willing)" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told you before just Because Jason says your only classed as gay in the Navy if you push back does not make it right on my boat..we be having none of this Adventurus skipper talk..ow just spotted that was adventures...forget the above :)

Yes job willing this year the money will be there as the leave is to be afloat 3 times a week if the weather lets me.

Well Jason managed his P.B last year see if we can improve yours this year Graham...ow and not get caught out in bad weather 20+ miles out again would be a bonus like Aug last year err :)

Ahhhhhh What No Adventures ! But I Thought You Liked It When I Dress Up As A Pirate, and you with your funny hat.Any way What On Earth Am I To Do With This Parrot I Got For Christmas,(Yeah Very Funny Should Of Got A Turkey Like Everyone Else).Havent heard that one.
Not To Be Caught Out By The Weather (Forgot About That One) Though To Be Honest That Was The Shoal Of Cod's Fault.
Long Journey's (Adventures) Flat Calm Sea's.
New P.B. Would Be Nice.
I'll Only Bounce Them When I Think Your Not Looking ( Pirates patch Over Both Eyes).
Oh! Nothing To With Gay Sailors (Jason) or The Sea But If I'm A Good Little Boy Can I Have Some Bigger CARP and IN Larger Numbers This Year Pleeease.
