been fairly quiet down my end over January, and having seen roker pier start fishing couple of weeks ago, thought it would be gods countrys turn soon........
ANYWAYS..... last Friday night tides were huge and chose me back garden mark. realised fish baits were not the choice, and switched to worm, resulting in four codling. should of had a fish a chuck but the boulders and kelp seemed to swallow everything even on the weakest rotten bottoms ha.
obviously the big fish caught over the weekend has kept everyones expectations high, so chose last night on the blocks and what a session it was. had 16 whities(yes unusual for the blocks I know) all put back. two cod and a fish which I bleedin lost..............
this was well in the teens, as it broke the surface it kept rolling its body and nodding its head, was walking it along to a boulder where I normally land them and pop.................... gutted. last time I landed one of these was 4 year ago. and I will probably have to wait that again
was at least 13 easy.... sometimes its impossible to get them in.
