I have a set of full stainless steel that are folding and have a knife etc on them too... They were purchased from next a fair few years ago and are still the best ive used
Decent pliers will cost you mate, forget the cheapo **** as they'll be fu**ed in a couple of seasons. Use what elecy's use which is lucas, ck master etc., may cost more now but will last forever. just saying like and in my opinion.
Hello Rocker,
Have a look at some of the pike angling suppliers, thats where I got mine. I have a couple of pairs as they ony cost a few quid....I have one in my box at home and another in my box I keep up at the caravan.
Despite the price they are pretty good and a quick rinse under the tap and a spray with plusgas keeps them good.
If you buy some of the more expensive engineers pliers they rust like hell no matter what you do.
Here's a link to some like mine but mine are a bit shorter.
Any pliers will do for fishing, it's more important to keep them oiled and clean than anything else. I use a cheap pair of Draper long nose ones that I've had for donkeys years. Being an electrician I use CK ones for work, but for my job it is more about strength and durability. I've never knackered a set yet, I usually lose them first
