Poor weekend so far...

3 of us fished shields beach last night for 5hrs - 1 flounder,

2 of us fished shields pier this afternoon for 4hrs - 1 coley, 1 flounder, 1 rockling.

Really disappointed especially with the beach, there was a good sea on, and the birds were diving constantly and there was a seal there - maybe there was just a load of sand eels?

Out for a full day session tomorrow , not sure where yet, but hopefully will be better

Any suggestions for a full day tomorrow? Somewhere with clean ground as there'll be a newbie with us and don't want loads of lost gear. Don't mind about 2 hrs up or down the coast?

We were around the middle, could see your lights down at Trow rocks, did you get much there?

We gave up earlier, was planning on fishing until high tide, but quit about half 12

suprised to hear that fella unlucky ive had a few sessions in front of the rattler and couldnt stop catching a fish a cast most of the time!! a few dam good flounder too try just in front of the sandbars straight out in front of the rattler not a massive chuck should see ya fine

Cheers mark, went up to amble today, had a really good day, caught nothing special, but plenty of fish, will put a catch report on when I sort the pics out.
