posting a rod advice anyone??

I need to post a fishing rod
Used paisley freight as reccomended from members on here for the last one i posted and they didnt turn up on collection day, they close there phone lines at 4.30 when the last collection is at 6! so you have no idea whats going on till next day
They eventually collected it very late the following day after loads of hassle reprinting labels and leaving with a neighbour
Does anyone know if there is courier in the north east where you can just drop the parcel at the depo?
Its a bit of a nightmare having to wait in all day especially if they dont turn up

Parcel force 48 collect from post offices, so does that mean i can just drop it round the posty?

I've always used Interparcel.
Never had any problems, and they always pick up when they say they will.

Good price too.
