Alright Lads, 3 of us had a canny session on the Tyne last night we had quite a few tommys and loadsa missed bites,but a 2lb 6oz codling made it a better session,the bites were regular but increase just before high water , the tyne is chocka with small codling at the minute so hopefully they'll stay around to be 2lbers next year
Baits used were lug,rag and of course the business peeler crab which out fished worm again,

Well i prefer down to low normally but we've been getting fish upto high lately,so i think just as long as its a small tide any time of the tide really,no good on big tides mate as you cant hold bottom
