morning fellas, has anyone fished the promenade in su derland? just looking on the map for somewhere new to try as in the last 2 weeks ive been to hebburn marina, frenchmans bay, cambois, ssp n not had 1 cod loks a canny spot?

can be a great area to fish if you hit it in right conditions, just had a ride down in the motor before and there's a nice little roll on down there could be worth a chuck on the flood 2nyt try the far end of the promenade where the large ramp is but dont go right down the bottom of the ramp as its quite slippy and can be a bit dodgy you want to be casting slightly to the right about 1oclock of the ramp and chuck it as far as you can it may help.

ya could fish next to the toilet block either cast straight out to sea or cast towards roker pier.

you can fish in the middle but very rocky in fact you can fish all the way
along to the steps next to the hotel but wouldn't fish pass the hotel you
can fish it low water as well.

jonny is that 1oclock lookibg down the ramp so ur infront of the cliifs or 1oclock looking out to sea from the top of the ramp?

another great mark on its day capable of chucking out a double casting over mixed ground and pretty rough in parts.

aye just fish from top of the ramp or middle if its not rough and washing over the blocks and belt it out at 1oclock m8
