The Pink is no more. there\'s an end of an era that reflects the impact the media have had on sport. Not bought one myself for years, mainly being stuck out here, but will miss it

maybe nostalgia ( a la recerche du temps perdue for any marcel proust fans out there) for times past, but its another nail in the coffin for what was once great and good

Sad news - i have EVERY pink from 1988 all in season order - looks like our lass will be pleased , she once suggested she was going to hoy them out , because i DIDNT look at them anymore - Hey women can be really thick sometimes :casstet: :casstet:

needless to say they are still in the loft - the ones from 1996 onwards ,the others are at my mams or they BETTER be

Sless, you\'re making me feel old now. i remeber going to the shop for the pink and the green after the van passed and it seems like years ago that you could get a green.

Used to have a lad deliver the pink until a couple of years ago when the shop wanted too much off him. Still get it now and again. PITY.

Can honestly say, I\'ve never had a copy of The Pink.
As a lad, I remember me mam getting me the Green Final every weekend, though.
CRIKEY........THAT was a long time ago:-
memories of stinky school football strip, football boots caked in mud from Cleadon Rec., cut legs & scraped knees, mud in me hair, trying to find me left shin pad.....
