Rat house today

Fished the rat house today (2 - 8pm) sun was shining, birds were singing but the fish weren't biting (blanked )

Still had a really good day tho, Chatted with old friends and made some new ones but the best thing today was seeing a group of young anglers on a school trip enjoying the day.
There was a huge buzz so I went over to see what all the fuss was about and to top it off one of them pulled in a beautiful 3lb cod.

Later on that day a guy came down with a few of his sons and again a huge buzz (another nice cod)

So just like to say a well done to the next generation anglers for showing us oldies how its done.

i was there tonite mate,seen the young lad with his coddy on show!!! i lost a canny one on the lift,6-7lber.......gutted!! there was some s***e in the water too!!!!

Never mind that's fishing for you, you rarely get two sessions the same. I managed a good pouting off the pier last night and my mate a codling around 1lb and a half. It was very quiet.
