went down to the rat house last night. couldnt get on the end as it was chocka, never seen the sea as roughas that before inside the harbour, when the tide came in it was breaking over the end.
fished from 6.30 until 9.30 didnt get one bite all night, just got plagued by bloody crabs, every cast was pulling crabs in.
there were a lot of lads out last night but never seen any fish caught not one. thought there would of been a few about considering the sea.
talking to a lad, he said he got a 14lber last week off shields pier.
where are all the cod????????

I had the concrete end of steetly to myself. Most other lads seem to go straight off the end.
