rathouse or roker on sunday

Hi I'm fishing all day sunday but can't decide wether to go to the rathouse or roker for a few fish any advice would be great thanks

forecasted for strong easterlies so i would imagine Roker will be under water. Rathouse fishes well when its like that though.

Agree mate. Had some decent codling up to 6lb at ratty when its rough.

Fished Roker Pier last night and even with a Southerly there was a decent swell on.

Completely blanked and successed in losing a rig almost every cast.

plenty of small cod and decent whiting but also a chance of a decent cod young arron (scaley) caught a 7lb from the bay not that long ago

Thanks for the info lads I fancy the rathouse but looking at the weather I might have to stay in horden if the beach is fishable

Well I went to the rathouse for 11 this morning and fished for an hour without any bites and the wind was doing my head in so I packed up and moved to the walkway on the tyne, first cast I got a canny bite and pulled a codling in of about 1lb then another about the same on my third cast both fell to lug tipped with rag on a 2 hook flapper and both fish released.I fished till 15 00 but didnd get owt else but enjoyed it and got plenty bait left for tuesday night.

Well played mate moving to the walkway payed off. Were abouts on the walkway were u ive had very little last few times ive been
