rathouse pig sty

I've said it before Jamcod, Open comps organisiers should stipulate that anyone reported for leaving their rubbish should have their bag disqualified if they weigh in. Same up our way after the Amble Open every year. Paper, boxes, bait buckets, fag packets, cans of pop, crisp packets etc. Worst thing is when you get up to a car park and find the undersize fish left that the numpties couldn't be arsed to measure and then decided against taking them back......Bring on the Licence.

What honest peoeple paying for it and the "bad lot" not?

Just be like car insurance, you pay it all your life, someone crashes into you with out it..gets a £500-£1000 fine and gets banned for 6 months.

They contiune to drive because the chance of being pulled over is slim (how many times have you been pulled over) you lose your long no claims bonus.

The money they have saved on not getting any for a year or two has paid for thier fine, ow the UK is has a great system.

Next we will be paying for Polish workers kids back in Poland...ow wait we are :(

My opinion i dont mind paying for one but i know for a fact the problem anglers (most of them) will not buy one.

Rant over :)

This really pi**es me off. I think I have a regular rant about it every coupld of months. People like this really are going to get fishing on our coast stopped in public places. I was fishing the walkway last friday and as I left picked up someone's rag and papers to put in the bin. They were fishing in between 2 bins 10 foot either side of them ffs. It's just getting rediculous and I would welcome CCTV in all of these venues to try and catch some of these idiots.

so far people who leave rubbish according to every one should be hung drawn and subject to gang violence, its rubbish ffs theres one thing in common about all these situations we all pay taxxes to have the piers walkways and byways cleaned so someone from the council should be responsible for cleaning it. the fact is it doesn't matter what we do we cant stop nobs throwing ****e around so the problem needs addressing, as to when litter should be cleared everyday from marks that have public use, instead of blaming individuals who makes the mess, im sure everyone on here works and pays council tax? if you were to walk up sea road at lunch time after kids had been from school you will see two road sweepers cleaning up after them. unless we just get a posse together stranglers all school kids or throw them in the river !!!. a sea license has nothing to do with litter we already pay for that to be sorted.
As for yatch club members the fishing mark was there a long long time before the yatch club was.rant definitly not over..........................

Council Tax also covers Fire Service and the Police...by your logic I should maybe set a few random fires to get my moneys worth out of them

Litter is the individuals responsibility. I'm not saying we always get VFM from our Council Tax, but it's slightly ridiculous to justify wholesale littering by saying it's someone else job to pick it up.

bollocks

the piers aren't owned by the council so why should council tax payers pay to have them cleaned.

so maybe we should ask the harbour authorities to charge EVERY angler that goes on them so the funds can be used to clean up after the ****wits that think the word 'pier' is the same as toilet or rubbish dump.

I'm sure that would be really popular

And when they are not cleaning the piers, the 'cleaners' can practice their pendulum casting on the pier, so you can get your value from the money from the ambulance service and NHS as well.

i fished dunstanburgh castle the other weekend and it was full of litter , i must have picked up a couple of miles of line to take home and dispose of properly (cut up into small bits ? is this right ) the lad in the the hut asked us to keep an eye out for any nupties because they are suffering from acts vandalism :(

lot of good mersey marks were lost for this very reason, council got ****ed off with the complaints and banned you from fishing there, a mindless few ruin it for the majority
