what bad timing ..... (lock wise)

you can always park up on the waiting pontoon .. It`s just not quite the same as the safety of being behind closed doors at night.

Well dont think your missing a great deal fishing wise but you have to be in it to win it as they say.

The news letter for the Royal Quays said the marina lock will be drained, if thats right i will be going down for a look as it would be interesting seeing it and the dottom.

ready to go

cheers arthur, itchin to just to get the boat out, any fish will be a bonus. and ritchie your right about interesting to see whats down there

I remember the lock being drained out about three to four years back, and it was surprisingly clear of debris, but is worth seeing, just to get an idea of how deep it is,

It was buzzing down the marina today, full of people working on the boats and the lock gates open and closing all day.

Few new boats kicking around, both sides of me now has a new boat in. Had a walk into boat yard and it was packed, hope they got a nice spot for me next week :)
