Whats the best type and the lowest diameter reel seat you can get away with on a m4 evo it came with a 26mm fuji taped up and is a bit on the big side .

Hi mate.

I use an Abu Griplock on my M4 evo and it sits lovely on the butt, nice low diameter. Mines looks as though its blended into the but as it is merged with my grip tape.

Thanks, what lead weight is the m4 evo most comfortable with, i mainly use 165g (5.8oz) but ive been told 150g (5oz) is enough ? what do you's think ?

I would definately say that a 5oz lead gets the best out of the M4 Evo. I've tried few slight variations and always find I cast further with 5oz as it is more suited to the rod. Mind you that's my opinion, that weight is just suited to my casting style and what feels right for me, it may be different for you matey.
