reel seat size

Not sure about the prototype, but my Mk1 has a slight taper on the butt. Slipping a reelseat on from the bottom I had to go for a 30mm, but I fish reel-up and had to pack an awful lot of tape under it. I also found the 30mm didn't grip the small feet of my sloshes / saltists too well; they had a tendency to wobble. So I had the butt-ring removed and slid a 28mm down from the spigot-end then replaced the ring & it's much better. If it's a 13ft model then there's no ring on the butt anyway & it's dead easy.

Gary :)
