Myself and James89 headed out for a couple of sessions this weekend.
First up was Hartley on Friday,we got there just after 8 and headed straight onto the skeer as soon as the tide dropped
We fished a couple either side of low and had bites most cast, hung up a few times but i managed to get a couple of decent fish out, biggest being 3.6, the second we couldn't weigh as James' scales ran oot of battery!!
Was quite lucky on the bigger one though, got a little bite so let it develop then WHACK i knew a had an ok fish on, reeled in and i had a Rockling on the pennel and the codling on the bottom hook, think it had gone for the Rockling basically as a live bait, lucky me.

Bites started to drop off once the wind kicked in, but a good night all the same.
On Sunday we fancied some easy fishing so went to Smiths to fish the flood.
Bites every cast and we both got a double shot on first cast. We managed about 10-15 fish each. I got 5 size codling, a fairfew decent whities and a Dab. James got a shed load of sized whities and a couple of nice Dabs. Took a couple of photos of the better fish

All in all a cracking weekends fishing, i normally don;t fish the rivers or piers but it was great fun on Sunday.
All the fish went back apart from the very first at Hartley
Cheers
