river tyne fishing

anybody know if anythings getting caught around heppurn area big or small just wondering if its worth a few hours... thanks

Plenty small stuff in the river at the moment,probably a good shot for a few hours to get out the house.

I have some bait to use up so i am off to fish St Peters Basin tomorrow 11am till 4-30pm if anyone fancys joining me for a chuck your more than Wellcome.

fished the tyne at the pier today not a sausage....apart from 2 crab..... leaving it to next week now...... talked to someone fishing at the pier head and was there from 6am-12 with atleast 6 others and 1 undersized whitie between them

Just dont want to waste the bait, got to drop the wife off at work at 10am then pick up at 6pm so it will put a few hours in not realy expecting to catch owt.

same reason here, was on target lastnight and and not a nibble really so we had bait to use lol

might be too little too late but i had a few hours upto high at the helipad landing at jarrow today, mainly all small stuff but a few whiting and flounder making the weight, peeler taking the bigger fish.

I fished the Mill Dam today and only managed to catch very small Whiting on rag. It seems that everywhere is quiet at the moment.
