River tyne

Had a few hours at the tyne just down from the copthorne on Thursday in total I had 3 codling nd 1 hand sized flatty. All codling were very very small and all fish were returned sound. 1 fella I gave my left over rag to had just pulled in a cod of about 2lb ish. So all in all an areet days fishing. My m8 blanked unlucky for him

Yes m8. It's fishing areet well I think it is. Was down there a fortnight ago and I managed 2 whiting according to my m8. Nd my m8 had a tiny tab box size codling sorry but i don't know how to upload pics

its about a mile along the road past Gateshead stadium towards heworth metro come to the lights and take your left,and 1st left again and follow the road down past some allotments keep going to you see the big white building then walk along the path to the river about 100yards
