Fished the Ice store , I know I only seem to fish there ! , caught two codling for 3 lb first hour of the flood on ragworm.

A load of young lads were fishing with squid and were pulling in coalies , not size but not far off. One managed to hook his mate through the soft part of his bottom lip 2/0 bait holder hook. Having declined to pull the hook out for him (needed pushing through and the barb cutting off) he just kept on fishing saying his dad would fix it when he got home !

I always find any mark on the Fish Quay very rough ground. Am I doing something wrong?
