River Tyne

Thinking about trying a few sessions on the Tyne in the next few weeks. See if I can break my codling duck.
Any advice on marks and best tides to try would be much appreciated.
Alternatively, is it worth trying the Wear ?

few fish out of tyne at night according to reports on this forum

i would stay away from the wear for a couple of days it will be full of mackem supporters after tonight

could try the green door mate always caught fish there never fails
its just down from st peters and is were a sewage outlet runs into the river
so will be plenty of life there! caught codling there aswell

towards the bridge mate its right next to the navy facility just before spillers mate
