me and fozally tried the wear tonight 730pm until 1030pm in warm dry conditions .baits used crab,mackerel.and runny down.first fish out a nice 28cm flattie for fozally quickly followed by a clonking eel (hahaha).oh no i thought best get me finger out cos sless will read this,so a double shot of a coalie and flattie got me on the scoreboard !!.stevie was using braid and a flattie fanatic and it was brilliant watching the small fish bounce the rod tip crazy.the highlight of my night the 4lb carrier bag fish which put up a hell of a struggle in the ebbing tide but a nice big fat eel below that.we both had more fish ,flatties and coalies and when the light faded time for home.fozzie had over a metre and a half of fish , i had just over the metre so fozally took the pot !!!.20cm and over to count with eels counting as twenty.good crack and better out the house than in.lots of small fish,shame the glory years on the wear seem a thing of the past.

Aye zippie,am reading your report in Spain,and the word on the Street is that the eel you caught was actually inside the carrier bag,and had no way ov escaping lol lol

its obviously a all male resort where you are ratty or there are no kennels nearby cos you've been on here more than usual !!!!.it was actually a morrison's bag or harrod's .

El Zippo, the Hotel is full ov Eastern Block single women but me kids keep spoilen me chances...Keep tellin the women im a Top Gun Pilot,and that I took a one in the arm at Narm...but the lads keep tellin them "aye Dad BirmingNarm" Spoilsports...Still, another week to go..

Stevie, all I will say is, I dont need to catch wat Ive got loads ov, unlike Flatheed, mines frozen in me bait fridge, lol.
Cant believe the fishen out here,cast out, wait two mins,and watch your line go through the water as if a Torpedo is on the end..Would post some photo's but im thick.Any chance your lads can change the location ov the Nationals to here...

Ian, Wish we could hold them out there. I will volunteer to organise everything for the month or two run up to them, of course I would have to be over there all the time.
