River Wear, 2nd May

Fished the Wear today, 2 till 5.30. Got a Bass about 35cm first cast then a flattie a couple of casts later. Went quiet for a while then had a horrible big eel followed by another flattie. All fish were caught on black lug, also tried mussel, razor and prawns, but no good. An enjoyable session which was made difficult by the wind. All fish were safely returned
