Fished the river from 10 till 4. Abit of fresh water in and river not too clear. This stretch is alive with fish, sadly they are all in the 4 to 6 inch range. Managed to bag two decent brownies on the fly for tea - both about 15 inches. A few sea trout moving. One lad fishing with worm got snapped just below the bridge by what lookes like a canny sea trout.
A very enjoyable day, plenty of sport but a cold wind at times that made casting difficult.
