river wear today

well after listening to the sunderland and boro derby match 2-0 what a result,i decided to have a couple of hours down the river down depford . set up me gear at this time the tide was flooding and pulling strong also loadsa drift wood etc

first cast resulted in a double shot of flounder
one was hooked well so i had to cut the snood and pull the 2/0 hook back through the gill unharmed and returned

next cast a single flounder size about 30cm,s

had a bit of fight with the rubbish floating down next few casts but eventually it cleared and started to get back into the fishing again this time a double shot a flounder and a whiting

as the tide was near top water all i was hitting was these lil fellas

that was me for the day and headed off home ,very enjoyable after noon session and some fish to be had .this is what all fish was caught on crab and small tip of mackerel
