hiya not sure if i should post it here...it says catch report....but i blanked used two rods. two hook flappers.... bait was fresh rag and fresh peeler cocktail. caught three red crab on the them .....not bothered bout the fish or lack of it ....it was a nice day none the less....might used the leftover rag again tomorrow....

try tipping off also with a bit mackerel atleast it will keep the crabs busy on one snood while the fish have a go at the other

Watching the totty walking by sometimes makes up for not catching fish ha ha.

struggled myself on monday, using fresh peeler. most of the flats will be down the river mouth now, just a few big uns left further up. still some coalies about tho. and anyway even blanking is better than not fishing.

Still always handy to post the info mate, handy to compare with other areas to see if it's the same all over or to try and figure out why one place is fishing when another isn't.

they're starting to move back into the river now, i fished southwick prom yesterday and had 6 flounders out, every one had lots of sea lice on them a good indication they had recently returned fron the open sea after spawning. giving it a try over top of the water today, it'll only be a very short session as i've only got about an hour and a half spare.
